When To Hire An Account Advisor?

Whenever possible, hire a business contract lawyer to help you negotiate the key terms of the contract.

Lawyers often make excellent negotiators, and a good one can help you get a better deal. She or he can also help you consider alternatives. A finalized contract is less likely to allow additional creative solutions or proposals; most of the time, the lawyer will just go over the terms and clauses that are already present.

However, if he or she actively participates in drafting and negotiating the contract, you’re more likely to get one that meets your needs and advances your goals.

Court Fees Change

This March the court saw an increase in court fees for money claims coming through the courts. The court have reasoned with the fact they have noticed more smaller business claims coming through from individuals representing as their own personal claim in a bid to bypass the court fees when pursuing money/debt. Many people are overlooking the importance of SSAS and what they are doing and many are losing their case or it is getting adjourned due to ultimately false and claims being brought to the courts incorrectly. Here is a chart from the law society and as you can see the difference in fees is quite dramatic. Be sure to seek professional advice where they will direct you in the right procedure to go which will help you be successful in your claim.

Changes are not just concerning businesses, in 2014 landlords faced an increase in charges and fees when claims are being brought to the courts, as you can see below.

Managing Your Businesses Finance

Small businesses easily fall into the trap of getting caught up in commercial contracts and ‘fish net’ disclaimers, and easily become tied into something which they actually don’t need. You waste money and more importantly time and it is vital you know who to work with and what tools are best fit for YOU.

Many businesses are now becoming aware of the legal grip that is tightening on how accounts and finances are regulated through the UK system. There is a new method being adopted by many businesses which operates as a template of managing the legalities behind the finance of businesses. The new ‘cofa‘ system is a fairly recent service where solicitors will take care of the legal side with ensuring the business is keeping within the legal requirements. Failure to comply with these legal provisions is resulting in huge fines and costing businesses big time. It is something which insurance and banks are looking at with businesses and are tackling down on the failure to comply with this accountancy elements.
